Shocked Yea..thats right. My miata got hit. One of the guys hit the Miata in the parking lot tonight. While backing out, he cut it too hard and smashed the drivers side door, front fender, and mirror. His insurance is gonna pay for everything and I get a new paint job. Poor car. Pics to come. He was driving a big nissan titan. My beastly miata almost ripped off his bumper.

Damn those people in their huge trucks and suv's.
At least you're lucky to have the issue resolved, imagine returning to your car and discover some a-hole hit it and left.

Are you gonna change the color for the respray?

I'd really like to know an estimate for the respray. It's something i would like to do at some point (in conjuction with new RB bumper and fiberglass trunk)

Haha. Yup. Eleanor is a beast.

The place i was looking at for a respray, no bodywork. Its about $1500 comes with like 4 coats paint, and 6 coats clear. 10 year warranty

Also. I want to thank Johnny for hooking it up. I have to wait to hear if Statefarm will let them perform the work or not. So, i am miataless for a couple of days anyways. gotta drive the Torque monster around nows.

Why would statefarm refuse to let them work on it? Are they not a licensed body shop?

they have to be a licensed shop since they operate a business. LoL. But StateFarm may not like the damaged quote.

Well hopefully they can come to an agreement on the price if its the place you want it to be. Cause they certainly can't keep you from choosing the shop that you want.

yeah state farm is usually good about letting you take it to whoever you want, especially if you're the claimant
