Where the heck was everyone? only ardy and reni and karim showed... we didn't bring the spec miata because we didn't know when the snow/rain was supposed to show up at night, and didn't want the trouble of trailering a car w/out windows... turns out the weather was friggen perfect once the sun came up... not a flake of snow, not a gust of wind... just beautiful sunshine just like every time I've been out at the track at pahrump. we did mount the old race tires off the specmiata onto the RX7's wheels because they were almost done, but not as done as the azenis we've been running for the past year and a half... and found out 90% of the handling issues we've had w/the RX7 the past 6 months have been due to the azenis we had just being worn out past their usefulness... once we got 'em up to temp, me and my pops got a few great battles going... but we were the only ones in CSP  next event is Jan 24th, out at primm, and that night is the awards banquet for the 2008 season... $40 for scca members for the autocross, $25 for the banquet, but if you do the banquet, you get $10 off the autocross.... so $55 gets you both the autocross and the banquet... last year the food was great, and a ton of old time racers were there swapping stories and bench racing... |

The autocross chair quit due to personal reasons, so the club is working on getting the new chair up to speed.... should have a tentative 1st half of the year schedule within a week or two
